The Festival of Trees!
Today I helped Lily-Ann’s teachers take the class to the Festival of Trees at The Western Development Museum here in Saskatoon. Both the morning class and the afternoon class came, and we had a number of parent helpers… So each adult had three little ones to escort through the displays. I took the wee girlie, Tahani, and Austin. They had a wonderful time, and did pretty good with my holding hands rule. I only had to threaten to “get medieval” a couple of times. 😉
I had a hard time narrowing down my photos today. There were so many cute moments and lovely things to see. But in the end, I had to go with this one:
I just love how you can see bits and pieces of the children’s faces reflected in the mirrored ornament. 🙂 It was just a really nice moment.
I’m sure I’ll upload more to a facebook album, and when I do I’ll share the link here. But again, you’ll only be able to see the photos if you are on my friends list. Sorry all. It’s about protecting the kids.
So… time for me to go look in on my sleeping girlie.
