8 Week Puppy Pictures!

Can you believe it???  The puppies are already eight weeks old.  Kinda blows my mind a little.  I have to admit, I’m already looking forward to their show careers.  I love seeing their different traits (both personality and physical), and imagining how they’ll end up.  Both are promising.

Here are a few photos from some of our stacking practice and post-stacking play session:

Deedee isn’t a fan of the table.  She’ll stand on it, but doesn’t want to be stacked.  Same on the floor…  she has no trouble walking into a stack, but doesn’t want you to mess with her beyond just delivering a treat.  She’s definitely got the most confidence and attitude – and even when she isn’t happy about something her tail just keeps going.

Alice does really well allowing you to hand stack her.  She’ll stay wherever you put her (even if you totally overextend her, just to see if she’ll hold it).  LOL  She will stand on the table without issue, she doesn’t like it, but she behaves really nicely.  She gets her confidence from her sister on the floor though.  The difference in her self stacks when she’s alone and when Deedee is with her, is crazy-huge.

Both girls are super cute (though I may be a little biased).  And while they are quite different they are both nice.  I really am looking forward to watching them growing up.  It’s been such a privilege so far.  🙂

  1. great set of photos 🙂 can’t wait for more 🙂

  2. the puppies are adorable, but I have to ask…… how on earth did you get butterflies on your fingernails!?

    • They are these new nail strips (Yolanda gave me some to try). They are from Sally Hansen. They are just sticky strips you stick to your nails. They look pretty darn cool if I do say so myself. LOL The only problem I’ve had (and it was likely my poor application job vs. a product problem) was that as your nails grow out, the bottoms (near your cuticle) lift a bit and can get caught on things (thus pulling off part of the design). I’m also really hard on my nails. I never bother with nail polish unless it’s the clear polish with sparkles in it – because you don’t really notice if that stuff chips or starts to peel. LMAO
