Enjoy a Pimm’s Lemonade this Thanksgiving!

Well, we had our Thanksgiving dinner this evening (and will continue our celebration tomorrow).  I’m too beat to write much, so instead I’ll give you our Pimm’s Lemonade recipe.  I mixed up a batch today and we all enjoyed it after desert as we sat down to play dice (Farkle, specifically).

  • 2 parts Pimm’s (no.1)
  • 3 parts lemonade (home made or store bought)
  • 2 parts gingerale

Either mix it one cup at a time (if you’re only serving a glass or two) or do it up in a pitcher or punch bowl.  And no need to be precise… any variation of these three ingredients is good.  On ice or without, it’s delicious and refreshing.  Try mixing in fruit (like strawberries) or veggies (like cucumbers) for a slightly different take on it.  No matter how you do it up, it’s always good.

And even my Mom, who’s not a fan of gin, enjoys Pimm’s lemonade.  In fact, when I told her it was gin-based, she didn’t believe me.  She had to have it confirmed elsewhere before she’d accept it.  😉
