The finished buttercup bag. :)

Finished sewing the wee girlie’s purse.  It’s super cute, and she’s very proud of it.  🙂

The pattern didn’t call for a button flower, but I thought it would be a nice addition.  So we did away with the double button faux clasp, and instead made up a pretty little flower (which ended up being a lot more work).  LOL  Lily-Ann loves the flower, so it was definitely worth it.

The girlie’s buttercup bag closes with a magnetic clasp, and even has a little pocket inside (where we will likely stash a few crayons).  For now though, she’s carrying around a stuffed dog in it…  as she shows it off to everyone in the house.

Definitely a JOY moment.  🙂  For both her and I.

Oh!  The colour is accurate in the last photograph…  I could have fixed it in the others, but just didn’t feel like it.  LMAO

My new project, the buttercup bag.

Hit the fabric store today.  I LOVE the fabric store.  I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned this before.  LOL  It just speaks to me of possibilities.  All the gorgeous fabrics just waiting for someone (and their inspiration) to turn them into something new and amazing.  Joy is easy for me to find in a fabric store.  LOL  And yes, I realize this likely makes me a huge nerd.  😉

Here’s what I’m making for the wee girlie:

Lily-Ann’s bag will be purple with silver.  Super cute.  🙂  I’ll share it with you all when I’m finished.  She’s already super excited about it.
