Well, we’d estimated Roo’s due date to be either yesterday or today and so far she seems quite content to keep on baking her sweet treats. We are eager to meet our little miracles, but I suppose we’ll just have to continue to be patient. After all, as long as she’s not showing any signs of distress we’ll leave her be. Whenever possible it’s best to allow moms the room to do what comes naturally. In the times we live in, it can be easy to forget that our bodies (and theirs) tend to know what’s best. 😉
Lily-Ann was eating a tart today and was quite happy to share with our little Rooty-toot:
There is still snow outside.
I would just sit in a corner and pout… BUT… I can’t…. cause I’m doing the happy dance. 😀
My cousin Jamie and her long time fella, Chris, are having a BABY! Yep, yep, yep! Due date Oct 14 (or was it the 13). I’m so beyond thrilled for them. I was very honestly just thinking the other day how wonderful it will be when they decide it’s the right time. Jamie is going to be a great mommy. She absolutely adores children, and is such a good natured, gentle person, and coming from our family she’s also loud, fun, and great for a laugh… the perfect mommy combination. 🙂 So, despite my pouting over the weather, I’m thrilled beyond measure for Jamie. And excited that I get to make a sling for another new baby. I love sewing ring slings, especially for someone I love. 🙂
CONGRATULATIONS Uncle Rob!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS Auntie Kak!!!!
(and not to leave anyone out, congratulations to you too Zane… you’ll be a great uncle)
