More Disney? or….

Today I’m writing with a question.  Do you want more on Walt Disney World from me?  Want to know our favourites at every park?  Want to know what rides/attractions to skip?  Or are you getting tired of all the Disney stuff?  Do you want me to get back to just sharing whatever is on my mind?  At this point I could go either way.

On one side, I’ve really loved sharing about our Disney experience.  It’s allowed me to continue our adventure, reliving all the great moments even though we’ve been home for over a month now.  I’m enjoying sharing all of our pictures and stories.  After all, it was a week and a half that rocked our worlds pretty damn hard.  😉

On the other side, I do miss sharing my other passions.  Talking about the kid.  Sharing projects I’m working on.  Doing a little advocacy and fighting (as always) for justice and equality.  It’s nice just following my muse wherever she happens to lead me that day.

So really, I could go either way.  I love writing about Disney, but I love writing about my life and passions too.  And we are coming up on April again….  how would you feel about me doing the A to Z challenge for a second year?  I want to hear from you!  That’s one thing about the Disney posts, while they get y’all talking on FB, they sure don’t generate blog comments – and I’m missing the back and forth!  LOL

Out Sick.

So, right after I promise to get y’all caught up on our Disney trip with all sorts of tips and stories I end up sick in bed…  and I’m still sick in bed.  I’m hoping in the next day or two to be right as rain, but until then I’m afraid I’m not much use to anyone.  I’m just grateful this flu bug decided to wait until we were back home before it settled in and knocked me out for the count.  😉

Blessed Be!

Wishing you all a Yule filled with love, hope, and wonder.  May the joy of the season remain with you through the darkest days of Winter and carry you through until the sun returns to warm the Earth.  Merry meet and blessed be!

A brief update…

Just a real quick update, and an apology for not posting the last couple of days.  We’ve been fighting pretty hard to keep our littlest puppy going.  We’ve finally got her weight up to 2.5, but that’s far from being in the clear.  Poor thing is not doing really well, but she’s a fighter.  I will keep you all posted.  For now though, my energies are needed elsewhere.
Night!

I’m sick, here are some links!

I’m not feeling very well tonight, so instead of either boring you or grossing you out with details, here are a couple of posts and articles elsewhere that are worth a read:

Night everyone!

Nasty Little Ear Troll!

Just stopping by briefly, in too much pain to do more.  Splitting ear ache.  Feels like there’s a little troll in my ear canal with a pick axe and big freakin’ hammer going to town, screaming at the top of his lungs the whole time.  Can’t really concentrate on anything else, and have tried all the natural remedies I have available to me here.  If I can make it through to morning it looks like I’ll be hitting the minor emergency clinic.  😦

Blogging from A to Z in April

So…  I know it’s rather last minute.  But I’m thinking about taking part in the A2Z blog challenge.  I already post on a almost-daily basis, so I’ve got that part down.  And I think it could be fun coming up with a title/subject matter based on a different letter every day.  What do you think?  I have until tomorrow to decide.

Happy New Year!

In this coming year, remember how your words and actions impact those around you.  Whenever you can, spare a gentle thought or kindness.  Smile to strangers.  Hold the door for a friend.  Give of yourself in small ways.  Those little gestures can ripple out in ways you’d never expect.

Wishing you all a year full of love, joy, and happiness!

Happy New Year!!!

The Hobbit!

After all that happened today, I can honestly say that I’m such a huge dork that THIS lifted my spirits:

The Hobbit is such a huge part of my life (from my dad reading the book to me as a child, to writing and staring in a play based on it in high school, and eventually to sharing it with my daughter too).  I can’t wait to see it brought to life like this.  It’ll be epic!
