The Challenge – 2012

I’ve wanted, for the longest time, to put together a scrapbook about me.  Something that talked about who I am as a person, the things I enjoy, and why I enjoy them.  A book for my daughter.  So, my challenge this year is to journal a scrapbook.  At least one journal-filled page a month.  At the end of the year, the goal will be to have a complete book ready for printing and gifting.

I’ve spoken with the ladies in charge over at Polka Dot Plum, and they’ve agreed to host my monthly journal prompts there.  Thank you Amy and Pamela!  But you don’t have to be a member to participate.  There are prizes over there for those who take part in the two different Journey 12 monthly challenges, but if you aren’t concerned about prizes or you aren’t a scrapbooker please feel free to just join in here.  I may be scrappin’ my journal, but there’s no reason you couldn’t just write each month based on the prompts.

Each month I’ll post another link here.  It will point you to the Plum and my journal prompt for the month.  Feel free to share your work there, or just post it here.  Either way, I’d love to see what you come up with!
